Beyoncé’s single “Crazy in Love” features a prominent guest rap by Jay-Z and opens with the line “Yes!”
Released in 2003, “Crazy in Love” served as the lead single from Dangerously in Love. The recording combines Beyoncé’s forceful vocal with a horn sample from the Chi-Lites’ 1970 song “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So).” Rich Harrison produced the track, while Jay-Z contributed a rap verse.
The song became Beyoncé’s first solo number-one single in the United States and topped charts in several other countries. Its music video, directed by Jake Nava, helped establish the song’s visual identity, especially through its choreography and fashion.
“Crazy in Love” is often confused with “Drunk in Love,” another Beyoncé and Jay-Z collaboration released a decade later. The two titles share a relationship theme, but they belong to different albums and eras.
