Which Beyoncé film features her concert performance from the Renaissance World Tour?

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé features Beyoncé’s concert performance from the Renaissance World Tour. The concert documentary was released theatrically on December 1, 2023.

The film combines stage footage from the tour with behind-the-scenes material showing rehearsals, travel, production design, costume work, and family moments. It documents the tour supporting Renaissance, Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, which was released in 2022.

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé was written, directed, and produced by Beyoncé. Its concert material includes performances of songs such as “Dangerously in Love 2,” “Alien Superstar,” “Break My Soul,” and “Cuff It.” The film’s release followed the concert-film model popularized by other major music documentaries, while preserving Beyoncé’s control over the project.

It is distinct from Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, which documents her 2018 Coachella performances and was released in 2019. It is also separate from Black Is King, a 2020 visual album connected to The Lion King: The Gift.
