No Beyoncé album won the 2023 Grammy for Album of the Year. Her album Renaissance was nominated in that category at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, but Harry Styles won for Harry’s House. Renaissance did win Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the ceremony.
The result can be confusing because the 2023 ceremony was a major night for Beyoncé. She won four awards and became the most awarded artist in Grammy history, surpassing Georg Solti’s previous total. Her wins included Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa,” Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul,” and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance.
Renaissance, released in 2022, was widely acclaimed and became the first act in Grammy history to win in all three genre categories: pop, R&B, and dance/electronic. However, acclaim and multiple wins did not produce the top album prize that year.
Thus the precise answer is “None,” rather than Renaissance. This question tests the distinction between winning several Grammys and winning Album of the Year.
