Which Beyoncé album is subtitled “act ii”?

Cowboy Carter is the Beyoncé album subtitled “act ii.”

Released on March 29, 2024, Cowboy Carter is Beyoncé’s eighth solo studio album and the second installment of the trilogy that began with Renaissance. Its title is styled as COWBOY CARTER, and the album explores country, Americana, rock, blues, and related musical traditions.

The project includes “Texas Hold ’Em,” “16 Carriages,” and “Jolene.” “Texas Hold ’Em” became Beyoncé’s ninth number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 and made her the first Black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

Cowboy Carter is not the same project as The Lion King: The Gift, Beyoncé’s 2019 album connected with Disney’s The Lion King. The two albums have different concepts, release years, and musical contexts.
