Beyoncé’s album containing “Love on Top” and “Countdown” is 4.
Released in 2011, 4 was Beyoncé’s fourth solo studio album and followed I Am... Sasha Fierce. Its title refers to the number four, which has personal significance for Beyoncé and her family. The album explored a broad mixture of R&B, pop, soul, funk, and adult-contemporary influences.
“Love on Top” became especially known for its sequence of key changes and later received the Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance. “Countdown” used energetic pop and R&B production with prominent vocal and visual references to earlier musical styles. The album also includes “Run the World (Girls),” a separate major single often associated with the same era.
