Which Beyoncé album features the song “Break My Soul” as its lead single?

Renaissance features “Break My Soul” as its lead single.

Beyoncé released “Break My Soul” on June 20, 2022, and released Renaissance on July 29, 2022. The song combines house and dance-pop influences with elements from Robin S.’s “Show Me Love” and “Explode” by Big Freedia.

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s seventh solo studio album. It was presented as the first act of a planned trilogy and followed the visual and thematic ambitions of her earlier projects while moving strongly into club, disco, funk, and house traditions.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards. “Break My Soul” is not the title track, which is why it can be confused with the album name when listeners identify the project from its most prominent single.
