Which Beyoncé album features the song “Black Parade”?

“Black Parade” appears on Beyoncé’s album The Lion King: The Gift.

Beyoncé released The Lion King: The Gift on July 19, 2019, as a companion album to Disney’s live-action film The Lion King. She voiced Nala in the film and curated the album, which brings together African and African-diaspora artists with American and international performers.

“Black Parade” was released as a single in June 2020, during a period of worldwide protests against racial injustice. The song celebrates Black history, identity, and creativity, and its proceeds supported the Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund.

Beyoncé later expanded the album’s visual and thematic world in Black Is King, released by Disney+ in 2020. Because the two projects are closely connected, listeners sometimes name Black Is King as the album title; it is instead a visual album and film based on The Gift.
