Which Beyoncé album contains the single “Break My Soul”?

Beyoncé's album containing “Break My Soul” is Renaissance.

Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022, as Beyoncé's seventh studio album. “Break My Soul” arrived as its lead single in June 2022 and became a major dance-pop and house-influenced hit.

The album draws heavily on club music traditions, including house, disco, funk, and dance. Its credits incorporate or reference influential artists such as Robin S, Grace Jones, Donna Summer, and Right Said Fred through samples or interpolations.

Renaissance was conceived as the first act of a planned trilogy. It followed the visual and thematic approach of earlier Beyoncé projects but was released initially without a full accompanying film. The album title is sometimes confused with Cowboy Carter, which followed in 2024 as a separate studio album.
