Which award did Beyoncé win for Renaissance at the 2023 Grammys?

Beyoncé won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022, as the first act of a planned three-part project. Its sound draws heavily from house, disco, funk, dance, and Black and queer club traditions. The album includes “Break My Soul,” which became Beyoncé’s eighth number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.

At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2023, Renaissance won four awards, including Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. The victory made Beyoncé the artist with the most Grammy wins at that time, surpassing the previous record of 31 wins.

A frequent mix-up concerns Album of the Year: Renaissance was nominated in that category but did not win it. The Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album specifically recognized the record’s club-oriented musical construction.
