“Drunk in Love” was written by Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Detail, Andre Eric Proctor, Rasool Diaz, Brian Soko, Timothy Thomas, and Jerome Harmon. The production combines contemporary R&B with a prominent vocal hook and beat-driven arrangement.
The song received two Grammy Awards at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in 2015: Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. It is different from “Crazy in Love,” another Beyoncé-and-Jay-Z collaboration from her debut solo album.
