Jay-Z is the featured performer on Beyoncé’s 2003 single “Crazy in Love.”
The song was released as the lead single from Dangerously in Love and became one of Beyoncé’s signature recordings. Its arrangement prominently samples the 1970 song “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So)” by the Chi-Lites, especially the famous horn line.
“Crazy in Love” was written by Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Rich Harrison, and Eugene Record. Jay-Z contributes a rap verse, while Beyoncé delivers the main vocal performance. The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and won Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
Other major artists worked with Beyoncé on later singles, but Jay-Z is the credited featured artist on this specific recording.
