Which actress played Jinx in the James Bond film Die Another Day?

Halle Berry played Jinx in the James Bond film Die Another Day.

Die Another Day, released in 2002, cast Berry as Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson, an American NSA agent who works with Bond against the film’s North Korean and international conspiracy. Jinx is introduced emerging from the sea at a Cuban beach, a visual moment designed to echo Ursula Andress’s famous entrance in Dr. No.

Berry’s character was intended to support Bond as an active field agent rather than simply serve as a romantic partner. Jinx was planned for a possible spin-off, but that project did not proceed. Berry won the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actress for the role, while the film itself became Pierce Brosnan’s final appearance as Bond.

The film also stars Toby Stephens as Gustav Graves, Rosamund Pike as Miranda Frost, and John Cleese as Q. Berry’s orange bikini became one of the film’s most recognizable images.
