Answer
Sophie Marceau
Sophie Marceau played Elektra King in The World Is Not Enough.
Released in 1999, The World Is Not Enough stars Pierce Brosnan as James Bond and was directed by Michael Apted. Elektra King is the daughter of oil magnate Sir Robert King, and her relationship with Bond forms the emotional center of the story.
The film gradually reveals that Elektra is working with terrorist Renard, played by Robert Carlyle. Denise Richards played nuclear physicist Christmas Jones, while Judi Dench returned as M.
Marceau was a French actor known internationally for films including Braveheart and Anna Karenina. The World Is Not Enough was Brosnan’s third Bond film, following GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies. Its title comes from the Bond family motto, which is also the English translation of the Latin phrase “Orbis non sufficit.”
