Which actress played Ariadne in Christopher Nolan’s Inception?

Ellen Page played Ariadne in Christopher Nolan’s Inception.

Ariadne is a talented architecture student recruited by Dom Cobb to design dream environments for an extraction team. Her role is crucial because she learns the rules of shared dreaming while also uncovering the emotional danger surrounding Cobb’s memories.

Page joined a cast led by Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays Cobb. The ensemble also includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Arthur, Tom Hardy as Eames, Ken Watanabe as Saito, Dileep Rao as Yusuf and Cillian Murphy as Robert Fischer. Marion Cotillard plays Mal, Cobb’s deceased wife and a recurring projection in his dreams.

The character’s name references Ariadne from Greek mythology, who helped Theseus navigate the Labyrinth. In the film, the connection is thematic: Ariadne helps Cobb navigate the complex mental architecture of his subconscious.
