Which actor plays Zhen Lei in Mission: Impossible III?

Maggie Q plays Zhen Lei in Mission: Impossible III.

Zhen Lei is an IMF field agent who assists Ethan Hunt during the operation against arms dealer Owen Davian. Maggie Q portrays the character as a highly capable operative, contributing to the team’s infiltration and combat work. The role was one of the actress’s major international film appearances.

Mission: Impossible III was directed by J. J. Abrams and released in 2006. It also features Philip Seymour Hoffman as Davian, Michelle Monaghan as Julia Meade, and Laurence Fishburne as IMF director Theodore Brassel. The story focuses on Ethan’s attempt to stop Davian while protecting his private life from the consequences of his secret career.

Zhen Lei is sometimes confused with other female agents in the franchise, especially Ilsa Faust, played by Rebecca Ferguson in later films, or Nyah Nordoff-Hall, played by Thandiwe Newton in Mission: Impossible 2. Those characters belong to different entries and are not played by Maggie Q.
