Solly McLeod plays Tom Lockland, the warlock opposing the Owens family in Practical Magic 2.
Tom is connected to the history of Maria Owens and the Lockland family. He tries to obtain magical power and uses Kylie’s abilities as part of a plan that draws the Owens women to England.
The character is distinct from Ian Wright, played by Lee Pace. Ian is an academic who studies the history of magic and becomes an ally and love interest for Sally. Xolo Maridueña, meanwhile, plays Gideon, Kylie’s love interest.
McLeod joined the sequel’s cast alongside Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, and Xolo Maridueña. The role gives the film a new antagonist rather than bringing back the villain from the 1998 original.
