Which actor plays Kevin Malone in The Office US?

Brian Baumgartner plays Kevin Malone in The Office US.

Kevin is the quiet, eccentric accountant at Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch. He works in accounting alongside Angela Martin and Oscar Martinez, and his deadpan delivery, limited conversational style and unusual interests make him one of the show’s most recognizable supporting characters.

Baumgartner was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1972 and studied theater at Southern Methodist University. Before becoming widely known through The Office, he worked in regional theater and appeared in television programs including Arrested Development and Everwood. He joined The Office in 2005 and remained with the series through its 2013 finale.

Viewers sometimes confuse the actor’s name with other Brians, particularly Brian Cox or Brian Williams. Those performers are unrelated to Kevin Malone. Baumgartner also played Kevin in The Accountants webisodes and later hosted podcasts exploring the making and history of The Office.
