What is the title of the episode where Michael proposes to Holly?

“Garage Sale” is the episode where Michael proposes to Holly.

In this season-seven episode, Michael Scott decides to propose to Holly Flax and struggles to design a grand gesture worthy of his romantic ambitions. He considers elaborate ideas, including dangerous gasoline lettering, before coworkers help him recognize that the proposal should focus on their relationship rather than spectacle.

Holly initially plans to return to Colorado after realizing that her aging parents need help. Michael supports her decision, even though it would separate them. He eventually leads her through meaningful locations around the office, ending at her desk amid candles. The sprinklers activate, soaking the office, but Michael still proposes and Holly accepts.

“Garage Sale” is also notable because Steve Carell directed it and because it was Amy Ryan’s final physical appearance as Holly on the series. It is sometimes confused with “PDA,” when Michael and Holly decide to move in together, or “Goodbye, Michael,” which includes Holly only by voice.
