Zach Woods played Gabe Lewis, the Sabre employee introduced in season 6 of The Office US.
Gabe first appears in 2010 after Sabre acquires Dunder Mifflin. As the vice president of emerging regions, he arrives in Scranton representing corporate management and becomes involved in the office’s shifting power structure. His relationship with Erin Hannon also creates an awkward romantic triangle involving Andy Bernard.
Woods was born in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1984 and began performing improv at age 16. Before The Office, he worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade and appeared in films including In the Loop and The Other Guys. Gabe became a series regular in season 7, although Woods is listed as appearing across 51 episodes.
Many viewers remember Woods equally strongly for Jared Dunn on Silicon Valley, where he played another socially uncomfortable but highly distinctive character. His performances in both series helped make him a recognizable comedy actor, but Gabe Lewis remains his defining connection to The Office.
