Which actor played James Bond in the 2021 film No Time to Die?

Daniel Craig played James Bond in the 2021 film No Time to Die.

No Time to Die was Craig’s fifth and final official Bond film. He first appeared as 007 in Casino Royale in 2006, followed by Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre. Across those films, Craig’s version of Bond is presented through a continuing personal and emotional storyline.

The film was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and released in 2021 after substantial delays connected to production changes and the COVID-19 pandemic. Its plot follows Bond after retirement as he becomes involved in a mission connected to a dangerous biological weapon and the spy agency’s newest threats.

Rami Malek played the villain Lyutsifer Safin, not Bond. The film also stars Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and introduces Lashana Lynch as Nomi, an agent who has taken the 007 designation during Bond’s absence.
