Which actor played Hattie Shaw in Hobbs & Shaw?

Vanessa Kirby played Hattie Shaw in Hobbs & Shaw.

Hattie is a skilled MI6 agent and the sister of Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham. She becomes central to the story after a programmable virus is connected to her during a mission involving the terrorist organization Eteon. Hattie must work with Luke Hobbs and her estranged brother to prevent a global catastrophe.

Kirby’s performance helped establish Hattie as an active action character rather than simply a person the heroes must rescue. She participates in combat, espionage, and the film’s international chase narrative. Her family relationship with Deckard also gives the spin-off a personal conflict alongside its larger technological threat.

The role is sometimes confused with Kirby’s action parts in other franchises, especially her portrayal of the White Widow in the Mission: Impossible films. Those are separate characters. In Hobbs & Shaw, Kirby is Hattie Shaw, while Helen Mirren appears as her and Deckard’s mother, Magdalene Shaw.
