Stephen Lang played Colonel Miles Quaritch in James Cameron’s Avatar.

Quaritch is the film’s principal human military antagonist and commands the security forces operating on Pandora. He leads the campaign against the Na’vi and the human scientists connected with the Avatar Program.

Lang portrayed Quaritch as a hardened, authoritarian officer whose hostility toward Pandora’s indigenous population drives much of the conflict. The character’s military background and commanding presence make him one of the film’s most recognizable human figures.
