Which AC/DC album is described as the band's second studio album?

The story behind the answer

T.N.T. is AC/DC’s second studio album. Released on 1 December 1975, it followed the Australian edition of High Voltage, the band’s debut album.

The record was made at Albert Studios in Sydney with producers Harry Vanda and George Young. It helped establish AC/DC’s hard-edged rhythm-and-blues sound, with songs including “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ’n’ Roll),” “T.N.T.” and “The Jack.”

A common mix-up comes from the 1976 international album also titled High Voltage. That overseas release combined material from the Australian High Voltage and T.N.T., so listeners outside Australia and New Zealand may encounter the songs in a different album sequence. T.N.T. itself was an Australasian release and had no direct international counterpart.
