Which 2002 Austin Powers film featured Beyoncé as Foxxy Cleopatra?

Beyoncé played Foxxy Cleopatra in the 2002 film Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Austin Powers in Goldmember is the third film in the Austin Powers series, following International Man of Mystery and The Spy Who Shagged Me. It was released in July 2002 and stars Mike Myers in multiple roles, including the spy Austin Powers and the villain Dr. Evil.

Beyoncé made her theatrical film debut as Foxxy Cleopatra, an FBI agent and Austin Powers’s ally. The character is styled as a flamboyant 1970s-era action heroine and is central to the film’s parody of blaxploitation cinema. Beyoncé also contributed to the soundtrack with the song “Work It Out.”

The role came before her full solo-album breakthrough in 2003. Beyoncé was already internationally known as a member of Destiny’s Child, but Foxxy Cleopatra introduced her to a large movie audience under her own name.
