When did the 2026–27 Premier League fixture list become public?

The story behind the answer

The 2026–27 Premier League fixture list became public on 19 June 2026.

The complete schedule was released at 10:00 BST, giving supporters the dates and opponents for all 380 league matches. The announcement came a little over two months before the opening fixture between Arsenal and Coventry City.

The schedule was unusual because the 2026 FIFA World Cup affected the football calendar. The Premier League moved its opening round and final matchweek one week later than the standard calendar would normally suggest, while the season still retained 38 matches per club.

A common confusion is between the fixture-release date and the opening date. The list was announced on 19 June, but the season began on 21 August. The release also revealed that the opening round would span four days, from Friday through Monday.
