What was the Xbox One X processor clock speed?

The story behind the answer

The Xbox One X processor clock speed was 2.3 GHz.

Microsoft released the Xbox One X in 2017 as a more powerful Xbox One model designed for higher-resolution gaming. Its custom eight-core AMD Jaguar CPU ran at 2.3 GHz, an increase over the 1.75 GHz CPU speed of the original Xbox One. The faster processor helped games manage simulation and frame-rate demands, although the largest performance improvement came from the graphics processor.

The Xbox One X GPU delivered 6 teraflops and used 40 compute units, making the console capable of targeting native 4K output in selected games. CPU clock speed and GPU teraflops are separate specifications and should not be combined into one performance figure.

The Xbox One X was discontinued after Microsoft introduced the Xbox Series X and Series S. Its 2.3 GHz CPU remains a useful way to distinguish it from the earlier Xbox One models.
