What was the title of the 2021 covers album released for Metallica's 30th anniversary?

The 2021 covers album released for Metallica's 30th anniversary was titled The Metallica Blacklist.

It was issued on September 10, 2021, alongside the remastered edition and expanded box set of Metallica, the album commonly known as The Black Album. The project gathered interpretations of songs from the 1991 record by more than 50 artists.

The contributors came from many musical backgrounds and performed the material in different styles. The resulting album contained 53 tracks, making it much broader than a conventional tribute record by a single genre or artist group.

The project also had a charitable purpose. Profits were donated to Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation and to charities selected by participating artists. The title deliberately combines the band's name with the established nickname of the original album, while distinguishing the covers project from the studio album itself.
