What was the title of Beyoncé’s 2018 concert film and live album about her Coachella performance?

The story behind the answer

Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella concert film and live album were titled Homecoming.

Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé premiered on Netflix in April 2019. It documents and presents her 2018 performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, including the historic headlining set that became widely known as “Beychella.”

The performance celebrated historically Black colleges and universities through its marching-band arrangements, drumlines, majorettes, and references to Black musical traditions. Guest appearances included Jay-Z, Solange, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and others.

Homecoming is sometimes confused with Life Is but a Dream, an earlier 2013 documentary about Beyoncé’s life and career. Black Is King is a separate 2020 visual album connected to The Lion King: The Gift.
