What was the name of U2’s first concert residency at Sphere in Las Vegas?

U2’s first concert residency at Sphere in Las Vegas was called U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere. It opened in September 2023 and was built around the band’s 1991 album Achtung Baby.

The residency marked the opening of Sphere, a large entertainment venue known for its wraparound interior display and advanced audio system. U2 performed without drummer Larry Mullen Jr. for the initial shows because he was recovering from surgery; Dutch drummer Bram van den Berg performed with the group.

The residency title can be confused with U2’s earlier Zoo TV Tour, which supported Achtung Baby but was not a Sphere engagement. The Las Vegas shows were a new production designed specifically for the venue rather than a simple revival of the 1990s tour.
