Mount Judi is the mountain where Noah’s Ark is traditionally said to have landed in Islamic tradition.
The Qur’an, in Surah Hud 11:44, says that the Ark came to rest on al-Judi. Classical Islamic interpretation and later tradition identify this with Mount Judi, also called Cudi Dağı, in southeastern Turkey near the borders of Iraq and Syria.
This tradition differs from the Genesis wording, which says that the Ark rested on the mountains of Ararat. Mount Judi and Mount Ararat are therefore not interchangeable answers, even though both are associated with proposed landing places.
Mount Judi has been connected with pilgrimage, local traditions, and reports of searches for the Ark. As with other proposed sites, no archaeological discovery has been broadly accepted as proof that the biblical or Qur’anic vessel survives there.
