What was the name of the first all-private crew mission to the International Space Station?

Axiom Mission 1 was the first all-private crew mission to the International Space Station.

The mission launched on 8 April 2022 aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon Endeavour. Its four-person crew was led by former NASA astronaut Michael López-Alegría and included Larry Connor, Mark Pathy, and Eytan Stibbe. The crew conducted research and outreach activities during its stay at the station.

Axiom Mission 1 is often mixed up with Inspiration4, which was the first all-civilian orbital mission but did not visit the ISS. Axiom’s flight was specifically an ISS mission and was organized by Axiom Space in cooperation with NASA and SpaceX. It helped establish a model in which a private company arranges access to a government-operated orbital laboratory.
