What was the name of Beyoncé’s 2024 album that explores country and Americana music?

Beyoncé’s 2024 album exploring country and Americana music is Cowboy Carter.

Cowboy Carter was released on March 29, 2024, as Beyoncé’s eighth studio album and the second act of her planned trilogy. It followed Renaissance, which served as the trilogy’s first act. The album incorporates country, Americana, rock, folk, blues, and pop elements.

The project includes “Texas Hold ’Em,” which became Beyoncé’s first number-one single on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. It also includes “16 Carriages” and “II Most Wanted,” a duet with Miley Cyrus. The album’s concept examines the history of Black influence within country and American roots music.

Cowboy Carter was nominated for 11 Grammy Awards at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. It won Album of the Year, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to win that award since Lauryn Hill in 1999 and the first Black woman to win it in the 21st century.
