What was the name of Beyoncé’s 2013–2014 concert tour?

Beyoncé’s 2013–2014 concert tour was called The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

The tour began in April 2013 and concluded in March 2014. It supported Beyoncé’s growing catalog after the release of her self-titled visual album in December 2013, although the tour began before that surprise album appeared.

The title referred to Beyoncé’s married name, Carter, and was presented as part of the tour’s theatrical branding. The production used elaborate costumes, large-scale video screens, dancers, and a set list spanning her solo career and Destiny’s Child material.

The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour is sometimes confused with The Beyoncé Experience, which took place in 2007–2008, or the Formation World Tour, which followed in 2016. “On the Run Tour” was a separate co-headlining tour with Jay-Z.
