What was the mascot of the 1988 Summer Paralympic Games in Seoul?

The story behind the answer

Gomdoori was the mascot of the 1988 Summer Paralympic Games in Seoul.

Gomdoori was designed as a pair of black bears, reflecting a familiar Korean cultural image. The two bear characters represented cooperation and friendship, ideas closely associated with the international Paralympic movement.

The Seoul Games were held from 15 to 24 October 1988. They were especially important because the Summer Olympics and Paralympics were held in the same host city and used many of the same facilities, a pattern that later became standard.

Gomdoori is sometimes confused with Hodori, the tiger mascot of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Danumi was the mascot of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympics, while the Agitos is the symbol of the Paralympic movement rather than a Games mascot.
