What was the first Disney Lorcana card set, released in 2023?

The First Chapter was the first Disney Lorcana card set, released in 2023.

Disney Lorcana is a collectible card game created through a collaboration between Ravensburger and Disney. The game uses illustrated cards featuring Disney characters, songs, items, and story-inspired versions of familiar figures. Players take the role of Illumineers who summon characters called glimmers.

The First Chapter established the game’s original card pool and introduced its core rules, ink system, card rarities, and six ink colors. It was followed by expansions including Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands, and Ursula’s Return.

The title is sometimes shortened informally to “Chapter One,” but the official name is The First Chapter. It is also different from the game’s later expansions, which add new characters and mechanics while remaining compatible with the original card system.
