The original Disney Infinity starter pack included three character figures.
Disney Infinity launched in 2013 as a toys-to-life video game platform. Players placed physical character figures on a USB-connected Infinity Base, which brought those characters into the game. The starter pack combined the game software and base with figures representing several Disney and Pixar properties.
The original pack included figures for Sulley from Monsters, Inc., Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles, and Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. It also included a Monsters University play set, an Incredibles play set, and a Pirates of the Caribbean play set.
Additional figures and play sets were sold separately. Because later Disney Infinity editions used different bundles, the number in the first starter pack is sometimes confused with the contents of later versions.
