What was the B-side of the single "Hello, I Love You"?

The B-side of the single “Hello, I Love You” was “Love Street.” The Doors released the single on June 11, 1968, through Elektra Records, with “Hello, I Love You” on the A-side and “Love Street” on the reverse.

Both songs appeared on the Doors’ third studio album, Waiting for the Sun, released in 1968. “Hello, I Love You” became a major commercial success, reaching No. 1 in both the United States and Canada, while “Love Street” represented a quieter, more atmospheric side of the band.

The pairing is sometimes confused because “The Unknown Soldier” was another 1968 Doors single, and “People Are Strange” was a prominent earlier song from Strange Days. “Love Street,” however, is the canonical B-side of “Hello, I Love You.” Jim Morrison even said in a 1968 interview that he preferred the other side of the single.
