What was Noah’s wife called in the Book of Jubilees’ Ark story?

The story behind the answer

In the Book of Jubilees, Noah’s wife is called Emzara.

The canonical Book of Genesis identifies Noah’s wife only as Noah’s wife and does not give her a personal name. The Book of Jubilees, an ancient Jewish work probably composed in the second century BCE, supplies the name Emzara in its expanded retelling of Genesis. It also names the wives of Noah’s three sons.

Emzara is therefore not a name stated in the biblical Flood chapters themselves. Other later traditions use different names for Noah’s wife, including Naamah in some Jewish traditions and various names in Islamic and other sources. This makes the answer tradition-specific: it belongs to Jubilees rather than to Genesis. The distinction matters because many popular summaries present later names as though they were part of the original biblical account.
