What was Beyoncé’s 2013–2014 world tour called?

The story behind the answer

Beyoncé’s 2013–2014 world tour was called The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

The tour began in April 2013 in Belgrade, Serbia, and concluded in March 2014 in Lisbon, Portugal. Its title referenced Beyoncé’s married name and presented a theatrical persona built around the idea of “Mrs. Carter.” The tour supported her fifth studio album, Beyoncé, which was released unexpectedly in December 2013 during the tour’s run.

The set list combined songs from Beyoncé’s solo catalog with material from Destiny’s Child. Its staging used elaborate costumes, choreography, video screens, and large-scale production. The tour visited Europe, North America, South America, Australia, and Asia.

It is often confused with the Formation World Tour, which supported Lemonade in 2016, or the joint On the Run Tour with Jay-Z. Those were separate tours with different names and dates.
