What song does Limp Bizkit perform for Mission: Impossible 2?

Limp Bizkit performs “Take a Look Around” for Mission: Impossible 2.

The song was written for the 2000 film and incorporates a prominent arrangement of Lalo Schifrin’s Mission: Impossible theme. It appears on the film’s soundtrack and became one of the best-known musical features associated with the sequel.

Mission: Impossible 2 was directed by John Woo and uses a more stylized action-film approach than the first movie. The soundtrack reflects that era’s interest in rock and nu-metal crossover tracks, pairing the franchise’s established orchestral theme with Limp Bizkit’s aggressive vocal and guitar sound.

The song is sometimes confused with “I Disappear,” Metallica’s contribution to the soundtrack of Mission: Impossible 2. Both tracks are associated with the franchise, but “Take a Look Around” is the song specifically performed by Limp Bizkit for the second film.
