What phrase is the official title of Metallica's 2021 covers album celebrating The Black Album?

The official title of Metallica's 2021 covers album celebrating The Black Album is The Metallica Blacklist.

The project was released for the album's 30th anniversary and contains 53 cover versions of songs from Metallica. More than 50 artists contributed recordings, reinterpreting the original tracks in styles that ranged across rock, pop, hip-hop, country, electronic music, and other genres.

The Blacklist was part of a larger anniversary campaign that also included an expanded remastered edition of the original album. Rather than presenting a simple tribute concert, it used many individual artists to demonstrate how widely the 1991 songs had traveled beyond heavy metal.

The title should not be confused with Metallica's official album name, Metallica, or with the informal nickname The Black Album. “The Metallica Blacklist” specifically identifies the 2021 multi-artist covers release.
