What object starts Time Trial mode in Crash Bandicoot: Warped?
Answer
Stopwatch
Answer
Stopwatch
A floating stopwatch starts Time Trial mode in Crash Bandicoot: Warped.
After Crash or Coco has obtained a level’s crystal, the level can be replayed in Time Trial mode. Near the beginning of the stage, the player touches the floating stopwatch to start the timed run. The goal is then to reach the finish as quickly as possible and earn a relic.
Warped awards Sapphire, Gold, or Platinum Relics according to the final time. Numbered yellow crates marked 1, 2, or 3 freeze the clock for the corresponding number of seconds when broken, making their placement an important part of fast routes.
The stopwatch is easy to confuse with the level’s crystal because both are major progression objects, but they serve different purposes. Crystals advance the main adventure, whereas the stopwatch activates the optional speed challenge. Relics also unlock stages in the Secret Warp Room: the first five relics open its first level, with later groups opening additional stages.
