Eivor Varinsdottir is the name used for the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Valhalla in the female version.
Valhalla follows Eivor, a Viking raider who leaves Norway and establishes a settlement in ninth-century England. The game allows players to choose a male or female presentation, but both versions represent the same character, Eivor. The surname Varinsdottir identifies Eivor as Varin's daughter in the female form.
Eivor is sometimes confused with other playable women in the franchise. Kassandra is the central canon protagonist of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Evie Frye is one of the twin leads in Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and Aveline de Grandpré stars in Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Valhalla also features the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients, linking its Viking-era story to the series' earlier Assassin and Templar traditions.
