Sprint is the movement ability enabled by default in Halo: Campaign Evolved.
The remake introduces sprint as a standard movement option, giving Master Chief a way to accelerate across open areas, reach cover, and reposition during fights. It is activated through the normal controller movement controls rather than being a special pickup or temporary power-up.
Sprint is one of the clearest ways Campaign Evolved modernizes the 2001 Halo: Combat Evolved formula. The original game did not include a dedicated sprint mechanic, so the remake adds it while attempting to preserve the recognizable pace and combat rhythm of the classic campaign.
Players may confuse sprint with abilities from later Halo games. The Grappleshot is associated with Halo Infinite, while double jumping and wall running are not standard Campaign Evolved movement abilities. Sprint is intended as a practical mobility enhancement, not a replacement for vehicles such as the Warthog.
