Pocketpair is based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, according to Palworld’s development information.
Shinagawa is one of Tokyo’s 23 special wards and is a major business and transport district in the city’s south. It is associated with large office complexes, corporate headquarters, and Shinagawa Station, one of Tokyo’s busiest railway hubs.
The answer is sometimes confused with Shibuya or Akihabara because those districts are better-known parts of Tokyo’s gaming and pop-culture landscape. However, Palworld’s developer, Pocketpair, is identified with Shinagawa rather than either of those districts.
Pocketpair is the independent Japanese studio behind Palworld. The company developed and published the game, which combines survival crafting, open-world exploration, base building, and creature collection.
