What is the winter-themed homeworld in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!?

The story behind the answer

The winter-themed homeworld in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! is Winter Tundra.

Winter Tundra is the third and final homeworld in Avalar, following Summer Forest and Autumn Plains. Each homeworld acts as a hub containing portals to several smaller realms, along with a speedway and a dungeon area. Winter Tundra’s snowy setting marks the final stage of Spyro’s journey before his confrontation with Ripto.

The game’s plot begins when Elora, Hunter, and the Professor accidentally summon Ripto and his minions to Avalar. To stop Ripto from using the portal, they scatter the magical orbs that power it. Spyro travels through Avalar collecting talismans, orbs, and gems while helping its inhabitants resist Ripto’s rule.

Winter Tundra is sometimes confused with individual snowy levels such as Crystal Glacier or Icy Peak, but those names refer to separate realms or locations rather than a homeworld. After completing the required objectives in the earlier regions, Spyro reaches Winter Tundra and eventually uses its portal machinery in the story’s return-home sequence. The game’s three homeworld names are Summer Forest, Autumn Plains, and Winter Tundra.
