What is the title of Disney’s 2018 live-action film about an adult Christopher Robin?

Disney’s 2018 live-action film about an adult Christopher Robin is titled Christopher Robin.

The film follows Christopher Robin as a grown man whose work and responsibilities have distanced him from the imaginative world of his childhood. He reconnects with Winnie-the-Pooh and the other residents of the Hundred Acre Wood, prompting him to reconsider his priorities.

Unlike the classic animated films, Christopher Robin combines live action with computer-generated versions of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and other familiar characters. It was released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in the United States on August 3, 2018.

The title refers to the fictional character as an adult, while the character’s original real-life inspiration was Christopher Robin Milne, A. A. Milne’s only child. The film is therefore an adaptation of the Pooh tradition rather than a biography of Milne’s son.
