What is the title of Beyoncé’s 2023 album that begins her three-act project?

Beyoncé’s 2023 album that begins her three-act project is Renaissance.

Columbia Records released Renaissance on July 29, 2022, not 2023, and Beyoncé described it as the first act of a planned three-act project. The album blends dance, house, disco, funk, and electronic influences, drawing on Black and queer club traditions.

Its lead single, “Break My Soul,” became Beyoncé’s eighth number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100. Other tracks include “Cuff It,” “Alien Superstar,” and “Virgo’s Groove.” The album’s title is sometimes confused with the release year because its supporting Renaissance World Tour extended into 2023.

Renaissance won the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the 65th ceremony. Its follow-up act, Cowboy Carter, was released in 2024 and explores country and Americana styles.
