Beyoncé's 2022 studio album, identified as Act I of a trilogy, is titled Renaissance.
Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022, as Beyoncé's seventh studio album. It was her first solo studio album since 2016's Lemonade and marked a major return to dance, house, disco, and electronic influences.
The album's lead single, “Break My Soul,” became a major international hit. Renaissance later won the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. Beyoncé described the project as the first act of a three-part series, while the album's title and artistic direction emphasized freedom, dance-floor traditions, and Black musical innovation.
