What is the title of Beyoncé’s 2008 studio album built around her alter ego Sasha Fierce?

Beyoncé’s 2008 studio album built around her alter ego Sasha Fierce is titled I Am... Sasha Fierce.

The album was released on November 18, 2008, as a double album. Its two discs were designed to contrast Beyoncé’s personal and vulnerable side with the more confident performance persona she called Sasha Fierce.

The project produced major singles including “If I Were a Boy,” “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” “Halo,” and “Diva.” “Single Ladies” became especially associated with its sharply choreographed black-and-white music video.

The title can be confused with Sasha Fierce itself, which is the alter ego rather than the complete album title. The album was Beyoncé’s third solo studio release, following Dangerously in Love and B’Day, and it won six Grammy Awards in 2010.
